Quick(er) Cherry Pie

This cherry pie uses doctored canned cherries.  This makes a deep-dish pie, so make sure you use a large pie tin.  It's not nearly as time consuming as making from fresh, yet still tasty.

Ingredients:
3 cans cherry pie filling
1/2 c sugar
1 tsp almond extract
2 pie crusts (top and bottom)
Prepare the bottom crust and place in the pie tin.  Mix together the cherries, sugar, and extract.  Place in the tin.  Top with butter.  Place top pie crust over the filling.  Crimp.  Cut slits, brush with milk and sprinkle with sugar.
Bake 375 for 45-55 minutes.
If crusts are browning too quickly, you can cover them with foil.
