Super-Duper Chili

Ok, I got this from the Taste of Home and it is very unusual but believe it or not, it was yummy.
I don't think it's as good as my regular, but some people think is, so you'll have to decide.  It certainly has more fat and calories, but it might be considered more kid-friendly.  It's a creamy version of chili, and it's SUPER easy.

Serves: 14

1 lb.  bulk pork sausage
1 lb. hamburger
2 cans (15-1/2 oz. ea.) hot chili beans - I used one of each
1 jar (16 oz.) salsa - I used medium hot
1 can (16 oz.) kidney beans, rinsed and drained
1 can (14-1/2 oz.) diced tomatoes, undrained
1 can (10-3/4 oz.) condensed cream of mushroom soup, undiluted
1 can (8 oz.) tomato sauce
8 oz. Velveeta cheese, cubed
1-1/2 tsp. chili powder
1/2 tsp. cayenne pepper

In a Dutch oven, cook the sausage and beef over medium heat until no longer pink; drain.  Stir in the remaining heat; cover and simmer for 30 min. or until heated through.
