This recipe came from Paula Deen.
Makes about 2 dozen bars
1 1/2 c flour
1 3/4 c firmly packed brown sugar, divided
1/2 c butter
4 large eggs
1/2 c light corn syrup
1/3 c melted butter
1 1/2 c chopped pecans
1 8oz pkg toffee bits
1 t vanilla
Preheat oven to 350. Spray a 13x9 baking pan with nonstick cooking spray.
In a small bowl, combine flour and 3/4 c brown sugar. Using a pastry blender, cut in butter until mixture is crumbly. Press mixture evenly into the prepared pan. Bake for 15 minutes.
In a medium bowl, combine, eggs, remaining brown sugar, corn syrup, and melted butter, stirring until smooth. Stir in pecans, toffee, and vanilla. Pour over hot baked crust. Bake for 20-30 minutes, or until set. Cool completely before cutting into bars.
