Snickerdoodles

This the recipe grandma always makes

2 ¾ cups flour
2 tsp. Cream of tartar
1 tsp. Baking soda
½ tsp. Salt
1 tsp. Cinnamon
1 cup butter
1 ½ cup sugar
2 eggs

Mix together the flour, cream of tartar, baking soda, salt and cinnamon and set aside. Cream the butter, sugar and eggs. Add the dry ingredients. Shape into small balls; roll in a mixture of 2 Tblsp. Sugar and 1 Tblsp. Cinnamon. Place on greased cookie sheet and press down in center with fork. Bake 350 degrees for 12 min.
