Can be halved. Freezes well. This is an old Relief Society recipe. I saw it served out of a hollowed out pumpkin during the fall.
Serves: 6 – 8
1 ½ lb. Sausage (Jimmy Dean)
2/3 cup chopped green bell pepper
2/3 cup chopped onion
2/3 cup chopped celery
2/3 cup slivered almonds
1 pkg. Lipton noodle soup
2 cup rice
Combine all ingredients and pour 3 cups boiling water over the top. Bake at 350 degrees for 1 to 1 ½ hours in a covered dish.
