Lemon Cloud Pie

1 cup sugar
3 Tbls. Cornstarch
1 cup water
1/3 cup lemon juice
2 egg yolks, slightly beaten
4 oz. Cream cheese
1 tsp. Grated lemon peel
½ cup whipping cream – whipped

Combine sugar and cornstarch. Add the water, lemon juice and egg yolks. Cook till it boils and thickens. Boil 1 minute and add the cream cheese and lemon peel. Stir till melted. Cool and fold in the whipping cream. Top with additional whipping cream.
