This is grandmas recipe. They are best if eaten the same day.
3 oz. Cream cheese
½ cup butter
½ cup sugar
¼ tsp. Almond extract
1 cup sifted flour
2 tsp. Baking powder
¼ tsp. Salt
1 ½ cup cornflakes
Cream the cream cheese, butter, sugar and almond extract. Add the dry ingredients. Shape in balls and roll in crushed cornflakes. You can decorate these by adding ½ marichino cherry in center of each cookie. Bake 350 degrees 12 – 15 minutes.
